Wolf Boy iPhone App Review

Description:

We all love the classic arcade games that were fast paced and had simple buttons such as turles in time and street fighter.  These games just get you sucked in and you can’t seem to stop playing them.  Well there is a new game for the iphone called Wolf boy which takes these same elements and combines them into a great game that will keep you coming back again and again.  The game takes place in a world where humans and monsters exist. Monk, a giant monkey has failed in is attempts to conquer the earth.  He has failed each time because of the werewolf.  Toto is the werewolf that keeps messing up his plans and in order to kill toto, the monkey kidnaps tucy which is toto’s human girlfriend.  To save his girlfriend, and in turn save the world, toto must set out on an adventure in the forest of demons where he meets all kinds of monsters in which he must destroy to get his girlfriend back and save the earth.

The game has amazing looking visuals and while the game play is very simple, the animations and graphics are very arcade style to keep you interested in all the action that is happening around you during the game.

Features:

  • transformation – when toto kills a monster, he absorbs a spirit that transforms him into a mighty wolf during a full moon.  This transformation lasts for a limited time, so you can kill monsters easily once transformed.  Your health is not effected by attacks, and no monster can stand in his way when transformed.
  • Item cube, you can find item cubes in each stage that allow them to attack monsters with weapons, and attack from a distance or become invisible.  There are a lot more items as well which can all be viewed when in the game.
  • Upgrade- Toto’s skills can be upgraded so that he can continue to kill monsters and become more powerful over time.  When your speed is upgraded, he can run at super fast speeds for a quick attack to kill enemies.  When his transformation time is upgraded, the duration of the transformation to a wolf will last longer and his other skills can also be upgraded.

This is a great arcade game that will keep you coming back over and over again, trust us!
