Stair Dismount iPhone App Game Review

   March 5, 2010

One of the most technical games to create,  yet so easy to use.  The realistic falling motions of the characters in Stair Dismount make it one of the most enjoyable virtual pain inducing games around.  The point of the game is to take the invincible Mr. Dismount and throw him down flights of stairs to inflict the most damage possible.  You get extra points for extra bad spills and also for any barrel rolls or cartwheels that you do in the air!  As you get better at having Mr. Dismount fall in more painful and awkward positions, you will find yourself throwing him down the stairs over and over again.  The 3D graphic are incredibly realistic, especially the physics of the simulated body falling down the stairs.

The game is fairly realistic, but not so realistic that you feel bad throwing your little guy down flights and flights of stairs.  You can use Facebook to post pictures of your best spills and flips.  You can share these photos with friends, and they can likewise share them with you.  Keep in mind that this is just a game, so you should not try to personally dismount yourself down the stairs.  Mr. Dismount is indestructible, but you are not.  Anyway, leave it to the trained professional and get satisfaction of knowing that you are controlling him down each individual stair.

  • Incredible real-time physics, makes it one of the most realistic impact gaming apps out there
  • Controls are easy to use
  • Great background music and even better sound effects on impact
  • You can customize your Stair Dismounter and pick faces from the Photo Library
  • Get on Facebook and challenge your friends
  • A lot of different locations to choose from to make your falling experience new and exciting every time

The concept itself is enough to pay two bucks for.  A fun way to pass time watching your person fall down stair after stair.  This is a great app to show off to your friends for a good laugh.  The more you play it, the better you will get at inflicting even more damage and racking up the points.  The ability to share snapshots with friends is a great option because you will find yourself trying to one-up everyone that you know.   Customize your character and pretend it is your boss from work and you will find yourself giggling the entire way down.

Voted 3 1/2 stars by iPhone app users and costs around $1.99.
